Tom Killion launches first ad in 9th District Senate campaign

Positive spot highlights Killion’s local roots,

small business experience, and community involvement

CHADDS FORD, PA — Tom Killion launched his first television ad in his campaign for the Pennsylvania Senate in the 9th District with a district-wide media buy that  highlights his local roots, his background as a small business owner and job creator, and his involvement with local non-profits and community groups.

In the ad, Killion strikes an optimistic tone about the way the local community joins together to help one another. “Helping our neighbors is what we do here,” says Killion in the ad.  “This is my home and as a state Senator I’ll do everything I can to keep making it a better place for all of us.”

Killion is the Republican nominee for Senate in the upcoming special election that will held on Tuesday, April 26th to fill the unexpired term of Senator Dominic Pileggi, who was elected last year to the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas. Killion has earned the endorsement of both the Delaware County Republican Party and the Chester County Republican Committee.  The 9th Senatorial District includes portions of Delaware and Chester Counties.

Killion’s campaign themes include his opposition to personal and sales tax increases, controlling state spending, protecting open space, supporting job creation, and increasing state funding for education.
